RIFF 2011 – Let England Shake: Seamus Murphy Meets the Audience

by Pu on September 25, 2011

Day three of RIFF Reykjavík Film Festival 2011. After the screening of Let England Shake, film directed by Seamus Murphy in collaboration with PJ Harvey as a visual counterpart for the British musician’s eight studio album, the photographer and film-maker had a chat with the audience.

Murphy eagerly answered a few questions by the screening’s attendees, ranging from how the project was born and how he got his ideas for the film to how he felt about working with PJ Harvey. We have a video documenting the event. Enjoy the shakiness — quite literally.

Seamus Murphy’s upcoming project, “A Darkness Visible: Afghanistan”  is open on Kickstarter until October 21. You can show your support to Murphy by backing up his project with a pledge of $10 or more.
